as I promised

I promised to share more of Mona Ross Berman’s work yesterday. Aren’t you glad I did? I love her use of color and pattern. She touches on all the details beautifully. It actually reminds me a bit of my own style, I guess it makes as to why I like it!!
I’m using a very similar rug on a project right now! It’s so graphic and fun.
Rose Cummings Zebrine wallpaper can be a tough sell for a client! I think I have to use this in the powder room when I move. I haven’t grown tired of Zebrine since first spying it about five years ago.

Inspired, Caldwell-Flake

I’m busy, busy, busy today with my business and life, so instead of typing too much I’ll just leave you with a bit of colorful eye candy by the Southern mother daughter interior design team Caldwell-Flake. I like their crisp, colorful, slightly whimsical style! Happy Monday!

Update: Still pulling together my daughter’s room – will share some shots asap!

A place of one’s own.

I need to make some changes at my home, so I started with my bedroom. My Mom who is the sweetest person around insisted on taking me shopping for some new bedding. I couldn’t find exactly what I wanted so I opted for an all white 650 thread count duvet. I am going to splurge on two monogrammed pillow cases to add some interest to the mix.  I’m inspired by both of the above images. I want to add feminine flourishes, a bit of unexpected glamour and soft details. I also need to design a headboard. I feel some creative sketching coming on…………
Have a great one! xx. J
